About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions that support business processes, improve user productivity, and deliver reliable customer experiences across sales, service, and operational teams.
- Build custom functionality using Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous processing, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce when required.
- Configure Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules, approval processes, record types, page layouts, and Flow automations.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs by collaborating with stakeholders, business analysts, administrators, and other developers.
- Integrate Salesforce with external applications using REST and SOAP APIs, platform events, and secure authentication methods.
- Apply Salesforce security practices, including sharing rules, permission sets, field-level security, and appropriate access controls.
- Write maintainable, reusable code that follows platform best practices and respects governor limits.
- Develop meaningful unit tests, troubleshoot defects, and support integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Manage deployments using version control, Salesforce CLI, and established continuous integration and delivery processes.
- Monitor application performance, resolve production issues, and optimize queries, automation, and data processing.
- Support data migration, cleansing, and validation while maintaining accuracy and protecting sensitive information.
- Maintain technical documentation and communicate implementation decisions, risks, and progress clearly.
- Stay informed about Salesforce releases and evaluate relevant platform capabilities.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills, teamwork, and experience delivering Salesforce projects successfully.
