Login IP Ranges: Restrict which IP addresses users on a given profile can log in from. If a user attempts to log in from an IP outside the range, they are blocked (and may receive a verification email if the setting allows). Set per profile under Profile > Login IP Ranges. Login Hours: Restrict the days and hours users on a profile can access Salesforce. If a user is logged in and their session falls outside login hours, they are logged out on the next page load. Both settings are profile-level controls used to prevent unauthorised access — for example, restricting call centre agents to business hours and office IP addresses.
