I would start with an inventory of all automation per object, including triggers, noting what each does and which are still needed. Then I would decide on a target design, typically consolidating related logic into a small number of well-organized record-triggered flows per object, with trigger order set where needed.

The Migrate to Flow tool can convert many simple rules as a starting point. I would rebuild in a sandbox, write test scenarios based on current behaviour, deploy the flows, and deactivate the legacy automation in the same release so logic does not run twice.

What interviewers look for

Look for inventory, consolidation, testing and a careful cutover. Strong candidates know about the Migrate to Flow tool and flow trigger ordering. Pitfalls include one-for-one conversion that multiplies flows, and leaving old and new automation active together.
